Do you want to stay connected with potential clients and referral sources after your next networking event? If so, create some MOO MiniCards. They are slick little cards that can be used to promote your business.
The front of the card is covered with an image. The back of the card can be used to provide info such as your:
- Law Firm Website Address
- Twitter name
- Email address
- Linkedin URL
- Facebook URL
- Blog address
You can use a pre-designed set of cards. I like the “Perfect Pinwheel” MiniCards for patent lawyers.
I like the “Fields of Joy” MiniCards for environmental lawyers.
You can also customize your own cards, by uploading your own images. See a few that I customized, below. Notice that even though I was able to upload many images for one package of cards, the backs are all the same.
I uploaded photos of my kids. You might upload photos of:
- You – working in your office (or in court)
- Prominent buildings, bridges, or natural landmarks in your geographic region
- You – with your family
Why use MOO MiniCards over traditional business cards? They are different, and so they provide a conversation piece. Also, the non-standard size serves as a cue that they contain information which is different from a standard business card. Finally, at $19.99 for 100 cards you can create cards for special occasions.
In summary, you can create original MiniCards in order to promote your web presence. You can include links to your website, blog, social media profiles, and more. This can help you stay connected with the people that you meet at networking events, and ultimately help with business development. See, good things do come in small packages.
Please share your law firm’s business card or minicard with me. I will use them in a future post. Scan them and email them to: kelly.spradley@impirus.com
